Experience the Magic of Story and Sound!
Join us at PHSC’s Instructional Performing Arts Center to experience the first concert of the Florida Wind Band’s Lights Out Chamber Series, where story and sound are spun into something magical.
In “Woven in the Web,” guest narrator Lauren Murray and an intimate chamber ensemble bring to life the West African tale of Anansi, the clever spider who dared to ask for the world’s stories. Through daring tricks and quick thinking, Anansi turns impossible challenges into a gift for all humanity. Each note and narrative thread reminds us that stories are meant to be shared, and that sometimes, the smallest voice can change everything.
