Karen Heidler
Artist, Watercolor
Karen Heidler is an award-winning American watercolorist originally from southwestern Pennsylvania. She currently lives in Spring Hill, FL and has been a part of the art community for almost 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1994. She is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the Florida Watercolor Society. She exhibits in a multitude of national and international juried art shows and her work has won many distinguished awards. Her work has been published in three editions of Splash: The Best of Watercolor Magazine. Karen creates highly realistic paintings of her favorite subjects; people, animals and landscapes. Her paintings reflect who she is and communicates her desire to connect with nature while inviting others along for the journey.
