Jessica LaBossiere, Ph.D.

Jessica LaBossiere, Ph.D., is Faculty Senate President, and works to advocate on behalf of the faculty and strengthen lines of communication throughout the College. She has been with Pasco Hernando State College for 12 years, beginning as an adjunct instructor, then full-time at North Campus in Brooksville, before moving to the West Campus in New Port Richey in 2013.

LaBossiere holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Florida Atlantic University, a master’s degree in literature from Boston College, and a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in medieval and early modern British literature. Her particular area of interest is the way society employs the hero trope as a coping mechanism during difficult times.
