In celebration of Safety Week, PHSC staff and faculty members are invited to our Active Shooter Threat Training on campus at the West Campus and virtually via Zoom.
This training is designed to familiarize course takers with the warning signs that someone may become violent. It will also introduce the concept of run, hide and fight during an active shooter situation. Topics covered include the following:
- Situational awareness
- How to assess an emergency situation
- Run, hide and fight procedures
This training will be presented via Zoom in two parts. First, participants will view the training video. Afterward, David McCain, Director of Safety and Security, will offer additional information and answer questions.
West Campus will offer a group watch with David in J-105 for those who are interested in joining.
