      Helping Families in Need
Join PHSC in helping families in need this holiday season. Hosted by the Human Services club, the Thanksgiving Food Drive is a collegewide initiative aimed at collecting non-perishable food items for local families during the Thanksgiving holiday. The campus that collects the most donations will win an ice cream party as a token of appreciation!
Donation Details
Acceptance Period: Donations will be accepted between November 10-21, 2025
Drop-Off Location: Student Life Office at each PHSC campus
Most Needed Food
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to donate items such as:
- Canned Goods: Vegetables, fruits, cranberry sauce, yams, soups, gravy jars, pumpkin pie filling, broths, condensed milk, etc.
 - Dry Goods: Stuffing mix, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, lentils, cornbread or biscuit mix, etc.
 - Other Items: Crackers, applesauce, granola bars, oatmeal, etc.
 
All donations will be split between the PHSC Bobcat Pantry and People Helping People in Hernando County.
