Stanley Giannet, Ph.D.

Stanley Giannet, Ph.D., is the Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer/College Provost at PHSC. He was formerly the founding Provost of the College's Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch, the Provost of the North Campus, the Dean of Arts and Sciences, and a tenured Psychology faculty member. During his role as Dean, he and a group of faculty established the College's Peace and Social Justice Institute, which was among the first community college academic programs focusing on peace and social justice in the nation. A clinical psychologist by training, he was recognized by the National Academies of Practice and the Psychology Academy as a Distinguished Scholar and Fellow. Giannet is an accomplished author, speaker, and community advocate. He has served in leadership roles in local, state and national organizations and has lectured or provided consultation to professionals in almost every industry sector throughout his career.
