Message from the President

At Pasco-Hernando State College, which is a part of the #1 ranked college and university system in the nation for the ninth year in a row, student success is a top priority. PHSC is committed to providing affordable, accessible higher education opportunities that empower students, support the community and drive positive change throughout our region and beyond. Our exceptional faculty and dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically, professionally and personally.

We are a college of the community, striving to offer robust academic programs, whether students are looking to earn a degree and seek immediate entry into the workforce, transfer on to a university or accelerate their career opportunities with a high-value, in-demand credential. PHSC holds a unique responsibility to be both an engine of academic and economic mobility and a beacon of possibility and innovation.

Reflecting on PHSC’s rich history of serving the educational needs of Pasco and Hernando counties, we also look toward the future—where students are learning today, leading tomorrow. With deep roots in Pasco County, I am excited to return to the area where I grew up and be part of PHSC’s vision to raise the level of educational attainment, transform lives and meet workforce needs in the community.

As an alumnus of the college, it is an incredible honor to serve as the sixth president of this vibrant institution where opportunity, excellence and community intersect. From prospective students exploring educational pathways, to proud alumni, donors, community members and strategic partners, I invite you to discover all that PHSC has to offer.

Sincerely,

Eric Hall, Ed.D.

PHSC President
