The Associate in Science in Aviation Administration degree program offers a sequence of courses that build both technical skill and theoretical knowledge of the aviation industry, to prepare students for administrative and entry-level management employment opportunities.  This program equips students with fundamental knowledge of the National Airspace System, the evolution of the aviation industry, the basics of flight operations, airport and airline management, regulations, weather, security and the Safety management System used by airlines around the globe.  Students are also introduced to essential business skills, including principles of marketing, supervision, budgeting, scheduling, managing human error, customer service, all in the context of the aviation industry.  This program provides a standalone launch pad for a career in aviation operations, customer service, air cargo, and aviation support industry, or a solid foundation for a Baccalaureate Degree in aviation or aerospace sciences.

Aviation Maintenance Administration

The Associate in Science in Aviation maintenance Administration offers a sequence of courses that prepare aviation maintenance technicians (AMT) for administrative and management positions within their discipline.  The program provides a foundation in the evolution of the aviation industry, safety, human error and weather with a focus on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), scheduling and management of fleet maintenance.  In order to be awarded the Associate in Science in Aviation Maintenance Administration program, students must complete the requirements for the FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanics certification.

The Associate in Science Unmanned Vehicles Systems Operation offers a sequence of courses that provides rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge.  The program focuses on problem solving skills with unmanned systems; provides technical skill proficiency, and practical competency applied training that contributes to the academic knowledge, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, occupation-specific skills, and knowledge to problem solving in various industries using unmanned systems.
