PHSC Kids Summer Camps

Each year, PHSC hosts summer camps for students entering 7th or 8th grade. Campers explore future career opportunities, develop new friendships and have fun!  Camps held in the past include Forensics, Digital Photography, Summer Safety, Health Science, Coding and Cybersecurity, Engineering, and more. Camps vary from year to year.

2025 Kids Summer Camps

Crime Scene & Forensics Camp at East Campus

July 14-17 • 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. • Ages 11-13

Introduce campers to functions of crime scene investigations, photography, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving.

Day 1. Intro to Crime Scene and Photography

Day 2. Fingerprinting and Shoe Impressions

Day 3. Blood Spatter and Drip Patterns

Day 4. Mock Crime Scene and Solving the Puzzle.

Requirements: Must be able to bring a fully charged Cell Phone each day.

Advanced Crime Scene & Forensics Camp at East Campus

July 28-31 • 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. • Ages 14-17

Higher level of introduction to functions of crime scene investigations, photography, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving.

Camp will include topics such as:

  • Crime Scene Sketching
  • Introduction to Crime Scene Photography
  • Fingerprinting within various crime scenes
  • Drip Patterns, Blood Spatter and Blood Chemicals
  • Skeletal Remains collection.
  • Entomology
  • Shoe Impressions

Camp LABCOAT at North Campus

June 23-26 • 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. • Ages 11-13

Students will explore PHSC Nursing labs, including first aid, and safety. Microscopy, Microbiology, and 3D printing as well!

Camp will include topics such as:

  • Handwashing protocols
  • Intro to Vital Signs
  • Manikins and Moulage
  • Skeletal System
  • Microbiology/Science Lab
  • 3D printing Workshop

Summer Camp Scholarship

Want to attend a PHSC Summer Camp for free? Students who wish to participate in a camp but can't due to financial issues are eligible to complete the PHSC Foundation Camp Scholarship Application.
